Being a member of Park Row Synagogue and the Bristol Hebrew Congregation makes our existence possible.

The membership contribution is £160 per adult per year. Or alternatively if you prefer, you can set up a standing order to pay £15 per month. This is payable from when you join: you will pay for the rest of the year as a proportion of the full amount up to the following October, and then the full yearly amount from October.

We would like you to claim Gift Aid and there is a box to tick at the end of the Membership Form. Like many UK charities, Gift Aid allows us to claim 25% back from the government on their fees.

Our membership fees are remarkably low when compared to other communities. This is mainly due to the generosity of passed members & it is a small financial contribution but is essential to the livelihood of one of the United Kingdom’s oldest communities.

As a member you will receive the following benefits:

• Discounts to our fantastic events, festival celebrations and talks
• Discounted Cheder (children’s learning) classes
• Receive a printed monthly members magazine
• The right to vote on all matters at our AGM
• Discounted use of our shul hall for your simcha
• Significantly discounted funeral costs (see burials)
• And, most importantly, the knowledge that you will belong to one of the oldest and most unique Jewish communities in the country!
