This year, we celebrated Tu B’Shvat (the New Year for Trees) with a family walk and cheder in the beautiful Leigh Woods, on the outskirts of Bristol. It was a unusually mild day and so the eating of the Seven Species (there were a lot of dates, olives, pomegranate and figs!) didn’t feel wholly out-of-place!
Thank you to the many families who attended and brought food to share at the picnic. And an extra big thank you to Gabrielle Lobb for her lesson, which was enjoyable as well as delicious.
